A Quick Post about SEOmoz

August 25, 2007 · 1 comment

I am sitting down to write some articles about SES, but I want to give a nod to Rand Fishkin first. On Thursday he posted about the possibility of SEOmoz getting outside investment. I really admire that he asked the SEOmoz community about this. I have some thoughts on this issue, (I think they should take the money, sorta). But this post isn’t about that, this post is just to highlight Rand’s decision to include his community in discussion about a possibility. I certainly feel good that he included the community. SEOmoz is the only SEO type group I find myself really attached to and I just think it is solid that he put that out there for group discussion.

Whatever the future holds for SEOmoz, I plan to be a part of it. Rand has himself a very loyal member in me, and he does so because of his transparency and the great group of people that SEOmoz has brought together. It is a great community, and I am glad to be part of it, even though they don’t have a t-shirt.

Thank you Rand, you rock.
