Back to Google Business Center, I personally think owner involvement/validation is a great thing.

Camping on a bit with JeffMHoward's comment, I have long wished for a business owner discussion platform/forum. While all customers, especially these days, are good customers, occasionally you run across a difficult one. It would be great to have a platform to discuss and offer tips for business owners.

How easy is it to claim a business listing is yours, when it really isn't yours?

This is a big relief, correct.

I think the next step that would tailor to business owners is having a system for answering or creating dialogue for business owners to answer negative reviews. This can be really detrimental to a newly opened businesses.
