Did you know that if you search for “YouTube” in the Google gadget directory you get over 100 gadgets????

Most of the gadgets are the same thing, or do the same thing. But there are a few gems. How is someone going to find a gadget in a couple of months when there are 300 YouTube gadgets?

Gadzi is a human edited directory of gadgets, I know, cause I am the one making it.

It isn’t that functional yet, but will be August 1st.
There are over 100 categories that we are creating. But for right now, you can see the video category, and the YouTube one too.

If anyone is interested in being involved in any way, let me know.

Basically it will be a simple user friendly list of official and recommended gadgets. There seems to be a need for this, as it is a bit hard to find stuff. Gadzi will only be listing Google gadgets. It is pretty much just sorting out the ever growing list of gadgets in the Google gadget directory which are listed in a less than ideal way.

There are many gadget directories around, with all sorts of cool features, neat ways to submit, shiny wonderful designs, but there isn’t one out there that has a good old fashioned human review that is valuable to the user.

I can do that.
