Google Gadgets Tutorial

The goal of this guide is to teach you how to make Google gadgets regardless of your skill level, even if you do not know any coding.
It is easier than you might think.
Lesson One
This intro to Google gadgets will let you know what you will need to begin making Google gadgets of your own.
Lesson Two
We examine how Google gadgets work, and get familiar with the Google gadget editor. We also create our first gadget.
Lesson Three
We start learn about the code itself, and how to change parts of it. We also work on the tiger gadget more.
Lesson Four
We learn how to find where our gadget is located on the internet and how to make such a file display as a live gadget on iGoogle.
Lesson Five
We learn about caching and the Google developer gadget. We also see how gadgets can be written, edited, displayed, and “uncached” all without ever leaving your iGoogle page.
Lesson Six
Google gadget content types are discussed. We learn how gadgets can be “mini websites” by simply displaying information from a webpage within a smaller and more compact space.
Lesson Seven
We learn how the make a quote Google gadget that has an image and that displays different quotes throughout the day.
