This is just a quick post to highlight some new help documentation from Google.

Google Mapplets:

Mapplets are Google gadgets for maps, and they have just put out some new help guides

YouTube Gadgets:

Google Announced…

“This morning, we made an update to the AJAX Search API that provides you with direct access to YouTube Channels, Most Viewed Videos, Top Rated Videos, and Recently Featured Videos.”

I noticed that Video Ads from Youtube had an interesting option – you are able to choose a YouTube channel and display that channels videos as ads… hmmm that made me think why can’t I do that for gadgets? Well they announced a couple of days ago that you can! The new features made their debut, albeit a quiet one, not on YouTube or the YouTube developers resources which is weird. The announcement was made on the Ajax blog.

Here is where to learn about the new fancy stuff you can do with YouTube videos.
