Open letter to Jim Boykin

This post was about unresolved issues I had with Jim Boykin, these issues have been resolved. I like Jim, and my original post was to resolve a long standing issue, that issue is resolved. In any case the controversial post that was here is here no longer, I just spent a couple of hours I think on the phone with Jim, we are cool now.

I beg to differ. I have worked for Jim Boykin for almost a year and a half now and not only is he over generous to his employees, his passion for SEO and the industry is uncanny to anyone I have ever met.

It has been an honor working for Jim and I hope to work for him for the rest of my career.

I would call Jim, he has reached out because you are dwelling in the past and a lot has changed, i.e. Chuck hasn’t worked here in years.

This type of anger will eat you up inside … obviously, it already has based on this post.

Good luck man and I hope you guys can make things right.

  3. Shame you didn’t try working it out with him before posting crap like this in the wild, Pat. I think that would have been a much more mature and productive way of handling things, regardless of what led up to it.

  4. Pat, we’ve all moved onto really big things since 2008. I’m proud of each of us for taking those steps and recognize that those wouldn’t have happened if not for the time we spent at WBP. The company wasn’t right fit for me, but we did a lot of great things with our short tenure that I’m still exceptionally proud of. I loved the team I worked with and am still great friends with them. Many are still there and very happy. Jim and I have a conversation that may need to take place at some point, but we’re not there today for reasons that have nothing to do with our time there.

What I do want to clear up is the perception that Jim f-ed Lisa and I. We were big girls who made a decision to move to the area for more than just WBP. My departure was my own decision. Yes, there were contributing factors (as there always are), but it was the best decision of my life when I look back on the past 4 1/2 years and everything that has happened since. I don’t have regrets. I have an incredible business, a new home, a baby on the way, and a life that is speckled with highs and lows that make me who I am.
