7 Great Political Google Gadgets
Let’s celebrate super Tuesday by highlighting some of the political Google gadgets that are available. Here are my favorites so far…
Election Results
Getting sick and tired of CNN declaring itself to be “the best political team on television”? Does Wolf make you want to Ralph? Well this gadget allows you to get the latest results of the primaries as they come in sans CNN. The same data CNN is getting is displayed here available right on your iGoogle page. (Today is super Tuesday, and as actual results start coming in you will see them updated live in this gadget.)
Declare Yourself – How to register to vote
This gadget takes you straight to your area specific registration instructions, and guides you ever so very gently and easily through the process of registering to vote.
Political humor
The above gadget lets you know daily what today’s tree hugging liberal agenda is. This very funny gadget is updated daily by the Comedy Central Indecision 2008 team as is the gadget below which keeps us updated on the daily Jesus freak conservative talking points…
Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart
You need not cable to enjoy the dynamic duo of political punditry, you just need a Google homepage. These two gadgets allow you to watch the latest clips from the Daily Show and The Colbert Report…
Colbert Daily Videos and Jon Stewart daily videos…
Elections from Google
This one is a political junkies dream come true. It has many features, most interestingly in my opinion is the ability to choose to only track or receive news from the candidates you choose. Very neat gadget.
Okay I think that is enough Politics for today

Fun fact: the register to vote badge/site is a money keyword, per Google’s zeitgeist. And if you’re into Spyfu and such, I challenge you to run around finding the keywords I’m bidding on in that market
