PubCon = Shoes?

Shoes suck I used to have shoes before I came to Hawaii. I don’t now. I prefer to not have them because when you have them you can’t feel the sand squish through your toes. Last time I lived in Hawaii I went three years without owning any shoes.

I liked that.

But I didn’t go to conferences then.

I don’t want to buy shoes, I don’t even want to think about them. Shoes are bad. Women judge you on your shoes, I can be judged well by my lack of them. In any case, I will not be buying shoes for the trip.

I protest I will get flip-flops I guess.

I have not excluded entirely the possibility that shoes may be purchased, I am just going to have to play this shoe thing by ear. I didn’t move to an island to think about shoes, screw this.

I am going to the beach and I am going to drink a Pina Colada in protest of having to think about this.

I will be in Las Vegas for PubCon, I am staying at the Wynn.
