Just as a note of warning, the reported Facebook usage numbers are temporarily very, very wrong. The numbers that are being reported by Facebook are incorrect and have been for several days.
This is not a time to buy a Facebook app if you are basing your price on reported usage.

Facebook to begin taking steps to “unclutter” user profiles soon. User complaints of difficulty finding basic information on profile pages cluttered with apps will lead to Facebook providing two versions of a profile page. A “quick version” and an “extended version”.

This means that visitors need not be logged in to (or even a member of) Facebook to see the apps description.
