I seem to remember him writing about a time when it was either he or Matt who took home a monthly paycheck, not both. Personally, I think it's important from an industry standpoint to help the good people (let's not forget about the rest of the fabulous team @ SEOmoz!) who a) help us directly with their quality information and tips and b) are helping build awareness of SEO among your (our) potential clients. Plus, like Pat, I can almost justify the cost of the seminar on the cost of the booze alone. :) Julian,
