It is already a great read but i agree it just looks a little basic and old fashioned. In my opinion this is a great position to be in, most blogs look cool and modern but are full of crap content. It’s easier to give a good blog a make over than to transform a bad blog into an interesting read.

Virginia is GORGEOUS. I don’t remember how I stumbled on her or this blog, but I also believe that she is a very nice person even though I have never met her and will never meet her.

I’ve heard of Bruce Clay so maybe I’ll check out the blog for the writing that you believe to be so great.

As a recovering MT fanatic and a fan of Virginia since meeting her last spring, I have to agree with your assessment. While I love the folks at BC – who have been nothing but first class to us – the site, and particularly the blog, are hard to navigate and come across as more of a medical text than a contemporary blog. There is a tangible disconnect between the feel of the writing and the visual impact of the site. It hurts my soul to see good writers and a good blogging platform not achieving their potential.

It’s always puzzled me, too, that the BC writers didn’t have their own profile pages. It was hard to link to The Lisa when she didn’t even have her own page on the site.

I’m really hoping this will be a catalyst for change and improvements in the visual appeal and user experience on the whole BC site, blog included.
