Does dynamically created changes to a web page have any effect on the If-Modified-Since header?

Or does it only apply to physically uploading changes to a web page? Thanks for video.

Hi Gary, you don't have to do anything, if your server has this function then it automatically does it's job.

I have another question. I just finished reading over both the HTML and XML pages.

My understanding is that the codes are used primarily as a security measure, but there is one application that pardon me seems really retentive. That being the use of code to configure tables. I understand the concept and all but why write all that code when the use of an old fashion standard table with borders not only works but provides better delineation for the data contained within?

Thanks and please advise,

I have been trying to build a website for over six months, along with all the other tasks that are involved starting up a new business. I don't know if I would have gone this far if I knew how much work is invloved. To start with, I would have to say I'm techinally challenged. I have gathered enoungh software, tools etc., that my first worries of learning all these retentive codes is no longer an issue. for the most part, I'm almost glad that's it's taken me so long because I continue to learn more and more everyday. I actually started this process about 10 months ago, but have been working between 30-60 hour weeks the last six months. One of the biggests problems I have had the last two-three months is with my computer either slowing down and or breaking down at times. Loading too much stuff is probably the most likely reason for much of my recent problems. I added an external hard drive and this has worked out well with the exception of about a 3-4 day period when I thought I lost everything on the external drive.

Now to my main point, the extended time and learning curve has provided me a greater understanding of the whole picture. This has also given me time to slowly buy about 3.5 - 4 K in both hardware and software. With Google expanding their search critera, the added time and knowledge has also afforded me what I think is a good understanding of what needs to be done in mapping out my site, including all the tags and fade in and out pages etc. The real problem is the closer I get to launch, the more semi-duplicate web pages I have on my computer and the harder it's becomming to navigate within the confines of my own PC. Do you have a specific process, or method that you have used or can suggest to reduce the time and fustration I'm now experiencing to keep all these pages and software etc., from getting in it's own way.

Thanks and please advise,
