YouTube Copyright Stuff Goes International… And Pisses Me Off

October 30, 2007 · 1 comment

My favorite video has been removed from YouTube. I thought it was safe, It is in Spanish. But dammit, they are catching up. In the last week my favorite songs are dissapearing off of YouTube, even though they are in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and yes, dammit, Arabic.

The real sadness for me occured today, when my absolute favorite video was gone. Shakira. Before you laugh, or judge me. Shakira was an international star tears before anyone in America ever heard of her. My favorite song by her is “No” it is in Spanish, and I am pisssed that it is gone. It is a gorgeous video. If you want to hear the song, it is still available in a live version….

But the video version is gone….Shalira No

After almost 3 million views it is gone.

This way sucks. There are also, as I mentioned removals of songs in several languages. Arrrrrghhhh.
Shakira is older than you think and has been around for a long friggen time, I was in Italy when I first heard her and bought one of her albums, the song that hooked me was “Ciega Sordomuda”…

You best check it out before it is gone. What a friggen good song. Yum.

I will translate it later, I will be translating alot of songs soon, I gotta feeling it is what I should be doing.
